Junior righthander Zach Rosenbaum (Huntersville, N.C.) notched his first career complete game on Mar. 15 as he allowed seven hits and struck out five in Charlotte's 6-1 victory over Stony Brook. The 49ers claimed all four of their home contests on the week and are an astounding 27-3 at home since the opening of Robert & Mariam Hayes Stadium opened on Mar. 30, 2007. Charlotte begins Conference play on Mar. 21 with the first game in a weekend series versus Saint Louis.

Dayton freshman righthander Burny Mitchem (Farmington, Mich.) allowed just two hits and an unearned over six innings out of the bullpen in four appearances. Mitchem recorded his first two career saves in the Flyers' wins over Bradley (5-4) and Valparaiso (4-2). The Flyers host Xavier on Mar. 22-24 in the opening Conference series for both teams.

Senior outfielder Eric Morrison (Pittsburgh, Pa.) leads the Dukes with ten runs scored and is a near-perfect 9-for-10 in stolen base attempts. Duquesne hosts Massachusetts for a three-game series (Mar. 20-22) in the opening of league action for both teams.

Senior outfielder Danny Leach (Yonkers, N.Y.) went 4-for-4 with four runs scored and a pair of stolen bases in Fordham's 13-12 win at Virginia Tech on Mar. 12. Teammate Jake Rabinowitz (New York, N.Y.) fanned a career-high ten and yielded just one run over seven innings in the Rams' 3-1 win over Sacred Heart. Fordham opens A-10 play with a three-game homestand versus St. Bonaventure (Mar. 20-22).

George Washington senior catcher Andrew Abokhair (Ashburn, Va.) went 5-for-8 with three extra-base hits and eight RBI as the Colonials won two-of-three at Lehigh. Freshman righthander Eric Cantrell (Oakton, Va.) allowed just four hits and one unearned run while recording eight strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn his second win of the season on Mar. 16 as George Washington downed Lehigh. 8-1. GW hosts Saint Joseph's for three contests (Mar. 21), with the third contest to be played at Major League Baseball's newest stadium, Nationals Park. The game will be privately ticketed and is not open to the public.

La Salle senior third basemen John Rickards (Chalfont, Pa.) had three hits, including a home run, and drove in four runs as the Explorers rallied to edge St. Peter's on Mar. 16, 7-6. Rickards cracked a double and a triple on Mar. 14 in La Salle's 9-5 win over Long Island. Five different players collected at least two hits in the contest.

Sophomore righthander Bryan Leigh (Somerset, Mass.) allowed one hit and an unearned run over eight brilliant innings on Mar. 16 as Massachusetts downed Army, 7-1. The Minutemen edged the Cadets in game one of a doubleheader on Mar. 16, 1-0, as UMass hurlers scattered just five hits over 18 innings. Sophomore outfielder Brian Baudinet (Watertown, Conn.) had a team-high four RBI in the Minutemen's 12-11 loss to Army in the final game of the series on Mar. 17.

Rhode Island senior catcher Zach Zaneski (Waterford, Conn.) collected a hit in each of the Rams' three contests at East Carolina (Mar. 14-16). Zaneski was one of 32 catchers named to the 2008 Coleman Company-Johnny Bench Award watch list, announced by the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission. Each year, the prestigious award is given to the nation's top Division I collegiate catcher. URI hosts Temple (Mar. 21-23) in the Conference-opening series for both teams.

Richmond freshman designated hitter Billy Barker (Fredericksburg, Va.) had six homers and 16 RBI over five contests and was named the Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week by Collegiate Baseball on Mar. 17. The Spiders tied a program record with 26 hits in their 19-9 win at Charleston Southern on Mar. 16 and the team boasted a batting average of .361 during their five-game trip. UR opens A-10 play with a three-game series versus La Salle (Mar. 20-22).

The Bonnies visit Fordham (Mar. 20-22) for their first contests since suffering a 21-3 setback at West Virginia on Mar. 12.

Saint Joseph's downed St. Peter's on Mar. 17, 11-0, as Randy Mower (Hatfield, Pa.), Dominic Favazza (Ocean Pines, Md.) and Chris Prescott (Stafford, Va.) combined for the program's first no-hitter since 1970. Mower tossed the program's first complete game since 2005 as the Hawks turned aside Seton Hall on Mar. 11, 5-2. SJU travels to George Washington on Mar. 21-22 for three contests.

Two-time A-10 Pitcher of the Week Scott Turmail (Florissant, Mo.) has allowed just three extra-base hits in 30.2 innings pitched this season.
